I'm not going to post EVERY LITTLE THING that has happened since the last time. I feel like it's a little too much to begin with.
Many of you know that I LOVE digital scrapbooking. I have plenty of Shutterfly books to prove it (one of them was our wedding guest book!)
Since I had Abigail, the number of photos I take on a daily basis has definitely gone way up. It get's a little overwhelming trying to scrapbook when there are just so many pictures and events that happen!
I've decided to try something different this year.
Project life is where you scrapbook (digitally or physically) each week. You organize your pictures in such a way where you can find them easily for that week. On Saturday, I'll back up my pictures from my phone, sit down and pick out my favorites for the week. Then either halfway through the year or at the very end, you can create a Shutterfly book (or whichever printing service that you prefer) of all of your pages and tada! You have an entire "yearbook"!
I was so excited to get started, I found lost of great ideas and tips on Pinterest. Seriously, I don't remember what life was like before Pinterest. Is that bad? Oh well.
Here is what I have so far!
I don't know why I didn't start this sooner, it is so much fun!! I get most of my digital scrapbooking from free websites like this one, but I have bought the occasional kit and templates on Etsy. Some of the pages won't have journaling on it to begin with, my husband suggested actually hand writing them when I get the books printed.
What is your favorite way to scrapbook?
