Olive Garden Recipes to try at home!

I LOVE Olive Garden. But who doesn't?! Olive Garden was the first restaurant that we went to as a newly married couple so it will always have a special place in our hearts. Thanks to whoever gave us the gift card as a wedding present! ;)

I don't know if any of you know this, but Olive Garden changed their logo. It used to be this...

but now it's this...

I personally LOVE the new logo! It's modern and clean. They've had that old logo for quite some time now, it was due for an upgrade! What do you think of the new logo?

Here they are!! I can't wait to try some of these recipes in my house!

Beat this Heat!

I don't know about you guys, but I HATE the heat. I've always hated it. Winter is definitely my month. I live in Southern Arizona where the heat seems almost unbearable to non-natives (that would be me). I've only lived here for about 2 and a half years and even though I love the dry weather, the sun is brutal!

This summer hasn't been too terribly bad, but maybe that's because I spend most of my days INSIDE where its cool. I've compiled a list of 30 fun things to do to keep you cool in the summer!

Baby Update!

  • How far along?: 13 weeks HELLO SECOND TRIMESTER!
  • Baby is the size of a: Peach
  • Total weight gain/loss: -11 pounds! Goodbye previous baby weight! This little peanut craves fruits and veggies.
  • The Bump: Definitely there. I'm as big now as I was at 16 weeks with Abigail.
  • Symptoms: Fatigue, migraines, sleepiness, and a hint of nausea. NOTHING like my first pregnancy.
  • Food Cravings: Yogurt, fruits, veggies.
  • Anything Making Me Queasy or Sick: Not anything specific. If I don't eat breakfast right when I wake up, I almost lose it.
  • Sleep:  Sleep is pretty easy so far. I know it's only a matter of time before sleep becomes almost impossible!
  • What I miss: I'm still pretty early on in this pregnancy, so there's not too much to miss.
  • Weddings Rings On or Off: On. I haven't blown up to the size of a hot air balloon yet. ;)
  • Any Names Picked Out Yet: We have a few, but nothing is set in stone yet.
  • Movement: Even though I'm not very far along, there are a few times where I can feel little flutters!
  • Maternity Clothes: Yep. Back in the old swing of things. I only have one pair of maternity jeans and I basically live in them. The crotch part is getting pretty worn down, so I'll have to break down and get another pair... Or two...
  • Labor Signs: Negatory. Hopefully this one won't give us a scare like Abigail did!
  • What I’m excited about/looking forward to: I'm excited for Abigail to be a big sister! She does really well with other little kids, so I'm sure she will be great with this little one.
